Class 1974

Class 1974 had our first North America West Coast Reunion in Las Vegas from September 23-25. A total of 37 of us attended including 20 classmates. In fact it's not just the West Coast; we had classmates who came all the way from Toronto, New Jersey, Texas and even two from Hong Kong.

Before I went to Vegas, I was excited but didn't know what to expect, meeting old friends after being departed for more than 35 years. However, we all reconnected instantly when we met and we couldn't stop talking throughout the whole trip, exchanging memories of the good old days. The best part was a slide show of our old class photos. Everyone was trying to guess who is who. It was a great success, thanks to a few classmates who actively organized this event and have been persistently searching for classmates who have lost contact with their FBI skill.

Here are some comments extracted from our “HK SPCC ’74” Facebook group:

“After over 30 years, to be able to reconnect with old classmates is PRICELESS!!!”

“The Happiest Place on Earth is no longer just Disneyland”

“It was a blast! Got to catch up with old friends. Already looking forward to the next one.”

“Wasn't that a great weekend?”

“It was one hell of a party, one gigantic 2 day nonstop eating affair and one big hit in the wallet not unlike the latest stock market index. But I wouldn't have missed this event for the world.”

Since it was such a success, we decided to form a SPCC 1974 North America Alumni and we will have our reunion every two years. I really look forward to our next gathering.

Although we might not be as “gregarious” as Class 1964 as Kim Cheng mentioned in his September Article, we have already started and have 10 years to catch up.
